Tablet and computer accessories maker iBall has launched two laptop models on Windows 10 OS. This launch comes under a sub-brand iBall CompBook starting at INR 9999. “The company aims at bridging the gap between the consumer needs and the devices available in the market,” says Vaikundarajan.
iBall will be working in association with Microsoft with an aim to drive the digital revolution in India and bring world class products and offerings. The company launched two variants – 11.6’ Excelance and 14’ Exemplaire priced at INR 9999 and INR 13999 respectively. The laptops will be available in all prominent stores across India within a week.
“Windows 10 Home and Pro versions are mostly targeted towards first time buyers like students. Windows 10 has already powered over 300 million devices globally,” informs Vaikundarajan.
The laptops are backed with Intel Quad Core Processor clocked at 1.83 GHz along with a pre-installed version of Windows 10. It comes with a 2GB RAM and 32GB in-built storage with an expandable 64GB Micro Slot. It also supports External HDD for more storage.
“With the Digital India Movement, several technology brands are fighting for space in the consumer’s mind. This has led to brands coming up with unique smartphone and laptop models at an affordable price. However, only a few brands will actually succeed at making the best of it. Will IBall stand the test, we will see,” concludes Vaikundarajan.
