‘Badlapur’ Movie Review By Vaikundarajan

BadlapurBadlapur is an upcoming Indian action and a crime drama film released on 20 February 2015. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui play the leading roles, with Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Divya Dutta, and Radhika Apte in supporting roles.

The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla. According to Vaikundarajan this film is quite intense. Director Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur starts off clearly setting the tone of the film to be a revengeful one.

Vaikundarajan says “Varun Dhawan has given an honest performance, and the hard work that he had put for the role is evident throughout the movie.”

Raghav a.k.a. Raghu is a man with a past. He witnessed his wife and son being killed during a robbery. 15 years later, Raghu finds out who pulled the trigger to kill his family and the journey begins. The film’s actual half actually unfolds only after the interval. Though Varun has done a terrific job, he seems to have lost his character a little in the start, but later gets into his real character with every passing minute.

Vaikundarajan feels Sriram Raghvan has done a brilliant job in this movie and wishes them best of luck for their release today.

Vaikundarajan Grieves About The Death OF R.R. Patil

RR PatilFormer home minister of Maharashtra RR Patil, who was suffering from oral cancer, passed away in Lilavati hospital in suburban Mumbai on Monday February 16, 2015 at the age of 57. The NCP leader was a six-term MLA from Tasgaon in Sangli district. Vaikundarajan was deeply disturbed about his demise.

Mr. Patil, popularly known as Aaba, came from a modest farming family at Tasgaon in Sangli district. As a leader of the Rural Development Department, he launched initiatives that helped change the face of rural Maharashtra. One of them was the Sant Gadgebaba Gram Swachchhta Abhiyan (clean village campaign). The late RR Patil will be remembered for the dispute-free village scheme.

The innovative scheme was launched on the Independence Day in 2007 when he was the Home Minister. He also put a controversial ban on the dance bars and Tobacco eating which had landed him in trouble. Following the 26/11 terror attacks,

“He was the living example of a disciplined and simple politician. He set the standards of how one should behave in public life,” NCP chief Sharad Pawar said.

Vaikundarajan serves his sympathy to the family of Mr. Patil and also feels his death would leave a void in Maharashtra politics.

Vaikundarajn Looking Forward For The India V/s Pakistan Match This Sunday

India-Vs-Pakistan-2015

Asian giants and arch-rivals, India and Pakistan, get ready for yet another World Cup clash in Adelaide on Sunday February 15, 2015. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 may start Feb 14 but for the Indian sub-continent the tournament will well and truly begin a day after when defending champions meet their traditional rivals.

The two neighbors have a rich history of fierce battles on the cricket ground and each is intensifying. Vaikundarajan says “India have beaten Pakistan in all five previous World Cup meetings – 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2011”.

According to former Australian skipper Ian Chappell, lack of potential match-winners in the current Pakistan team makes India to win the highly-anticipated tie whereas both teams are not really in the best of form, so it’s possible for Pakistan to beat India.

Vaikundarajan believes that this clash could be their best chance to change the course of history and get one over.

Form and momentum mean very little in this big clash. The pressure of an entire nation weighs on the minds of both these sides when they play against each other. For most of them, a victory against the traditional rivals is as good as winning the Cup.

Shamitabh set for release on Feb 6, says Vaikundarajan

Shamitabh Wallpaper, VaikundarajanThe eagerly awaited Shamitabh is set to be released this week on February 6, says Vaikundarajan. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in the main leads.

This in itself is an unusual pairing and it will be very interesting to see how the audiences react. The movie is directed by critically acclaimed director, R. Balki and is produced by Hope Productions, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation, Wunderbar Films, Balaji Motion Pictures.

According to Vaikundarajan, Dhanush plays a speech impaired aspiring actor, and Amitabh Bachchan lends his baritone voice to the actor. Akshara Hassan plays and ambitious director. Mr Bachchan lends his voice to Dhanush so he can establish himself in the film industry. But even such the story is open to many interpretations.

In the last few months there have been rumors circulating that Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Anurag Basu, Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Rajkumar Hirani, Gauri Shinde, Javed Akhtar, Boney Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor would be doing camoes in the movie. Some of them may be right, says Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan hopes that the movie does well and bring in a different twist.
