‘I’ A Flummoxing Mix Of Images And Characters, Says Vaikundarajan

I-Film“I”, a film by Shankar, opened to enthused audiences this Wednesday. After all, it was listed as one of the movies to look out for in 2015. However, does it hit the mark, is something each one can decide after watching this diaspora of an ambitious plot, cool effects, southern action and reckless love.” says Vaikundarajan.

The story is about a model and eventual Mr. Tamil Nadu named Lee, played by Vikram and his love interest Diya portrayed by Amy Jackson. The initial story is run of the mill where boy chases girl of dreams and the dearly adored finely relents.

The story moves from a fairy-tale romance and introduces a fairy-tale villain at the first inopportune moment that the makers found. The music and background score by A.R. Rehman dictate the movie-goer’s state of mind and nature of reactions but don’t do a very good job of it.

“The dialogues are minimal and special effects aplenty. Good for a one time watch on the big screen.” concludes Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan hopes each one of you enjoys watching this flick.

Swami Vivekananda was one of the first people to put India on the map with his talks about religion, its practice and understanding the opportunities that youths bring along. Thus, it is apt that National Youth Day is celebrated on the birthday of the visionary Swami.

On the occasion, the PM Modi tweeted his favourite anecdotes and called on the youth of the micro-blogging site to share their favourites as well. He even went a step further and promised to retweet the ones he likes.

As a parting note, Vaikundarajan observes “It is interesting to know that Swami Vivekananda was named Narendra at the time of birth.”
