After the first trailer release of Bombay Velvet it took a while for the second trailer to see the light of day but now not keeping fans awaiting, director Anurag Kashyap has released the second trailer. In the first trailer we saw a glimpse of Bombay in the 1960’s and its colourful night life. In this we were introduced to the film’s character lead Johnny Bajaj as a cage fighter, Jazz singer Rosie and Kaizad Khambatta played by Karan Johar.

The second trailer moves further in to the story. We come face to face with Johnny‘s desire to be more than just a cage fighter. His desire to make it big in the city, to take control and not just be controlled. His desire to change his “aukaat” gives birth to the whole destructive roller-coaster that follows.

The second trailer of Bombay Velvet gave us a glimpse of Johnny‘s making from nothing to everything, says Vaikundarajan. The trailer surely emits the 60’s aura. In this trailer we get to see one of the finest actors of Bollywood such as Kay Kay Menon, who hadn’t got a spot in the first trailer. In the first trailer the lead role actor Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar stole all the thunder. But in the second trailer, Kay Kay Menon is finally introduced to the audiences.

Bombay Velvet is based on Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’. The movie is directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie will take audiences on a journey with Johnny Bajaj a cage fighter played by Ranbir Kapoor, who sets out to fight all the odds in order to fulfill his dreams of becoming a big shot in the city. The film’s story is about how one man’s dream can be another man’s nightmare.

The film stars Kay Kay Menon, Raveena Tandon and Manish Chaudhary as co-stars. The film is all set to hit theatres on May 15, 2015 shares Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan Expresses Deep Grief Towards The Victims Of The Recent Nepal Earthquake

Earthquake-In-NepalVaikundarajan says, a massive earthquake of 7.9 magnitude on the Richter scale hit large parts of Nepal on Saturday instantly killing more than 1,300 people, quoted the police. Northern India including Delhi felt major tremors for nearly a minute.

A school was damaged in Malda town where 40 children have been injured including 40 people in India, eight in Uttar Pradesh and three in West Bengal. In 80 years the magnitude of 7.9 on the Richter scale was the worst to hit Nepal. Due to the tremors felt at Mount Everest as well as an avalanche has buried a part of the base camp killing and injuring a few mountain climbers.

Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, has been completely devastated with roads splitting open and leaving homes and iconic landmarks in a state of rubble. Helicopters have been circling around the areas of the mountainous country to get a brief of the damage.

People with broken limbs and arms have been rushed at the main hospital in the capital for treatment. The amount of people dead and injured is still not clear.  Rescue operations have already begun and a lot of people have voluntarily come forward to rescue people trapped under debris, homes and buildings.

The Nepal police said that the Dharahara Tower in Kathmandu that was built in the 19th century collapsed instantly trapping at least 200 people. This site has been open to the tourists since 10 years and was a famous tourist place.

It has been said that the toll could be much higher from Saturday’s 7.9magnitude since tremors were felt in neighboring India and China and dozens more people could have been killed.  From Saturday’s count the death toll has risen from 1805 with 4718 injured said a home ministry official on Sunday.

Nepal has urged people to come forward and help the country deal with this devastating tragedy, says Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan Excited About The Announcement of ‘ABCD 2’

ABCD-2Vaikundarajan expressed his joy after watching the trailer of ‘ABCD 2’ saying that it is an outstanding trailer and the movie is worth waiting for. Even though the poster leaked out before the launch date, the trailer was eagerly awaited and definitely amazing.

‘ABCD 2’ is a sequel to the movie ‘ABCD- Anybody Can Dance’ directed by Choreographer Remo D’souza with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles as well as the God of dance Prabhu Deva. The movie revolves around the life of a dance crew with high ambitions and travel to Las Vegas to participate in the biggest hip-hop competition ever and live their dreams.

Prabhu Deva plays the role of Vishu, a dance instructor who with his gracious moves mesmerizes the audiences. Not only that, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor show off their flexible bodies through their dance moves which makes the movie even more interesting. There are many interesting sequences in the movie but a particular sequence that would remind you of the Hollywood movie ‘Step Up 2: The Streets’ is the whole crew performing in the rain.

After watching the trailer, the movie has high expectations from the audience response than the previous movie. It has also been said that the budget for the sequel is higher than the prequel “ABCD’. Also, actors Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor have been paired together for the first time and seem to have fit the role comfortably.

The movie also features popular reality dance show contemporary dancer Lauren Gottlieb who was also a part of the prequel ‘ABCD’, says Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan Wishes Team ‘Mary Kom’ On Their Win At Stockholm International Film Fest

Mary Kom, the movie on the life of Indian boxer Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom, also known as MC Mary Kom bagged an award for ‘Best Film’ at the Stockholm International Film Festival Junior in Sweden, says Vaikundarajan. The movie was directed by Omung Kumar and Actress Priyanka Chopra featured in the lead.

Since it was a junior film festival, the jury consisted of young children ranging from the age of nine to 17.

Omung Kumar was present at the screening and seemed very lively and excited during the entire session. After the screening, an interactive session was organized and children from various age groups asked him questions which he happily and confidently answered says Vaikundarajan.

In one of his statements, Director Omung Kumar exclaimed, “The Indian Embassy took complete care of me and the Indian Ambassador Banashri Bose Harrison herself took me around to show Sweden and its islands. She organized a screening of Mary Kom for her guests also, and had two dinners in my honor. This award is a very big achievement for us because now it will bridge the gap between Sweden and India, and we will be able to distribute our films over here.”

It has also been said that the Indian Embassy would showcase the film Mary Kom at the Indian Film Festival in Sweden next month shares Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan Roots For Kangana Ranaut In Her New Movie Tanu Weds Manu Returns

The movie features actors R Madhavan, Deepak Dobriyal and actress Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles and is a sequel of the 2011 Tanu weds Manu Directed by Anand L Rai.

The story revolves around Tanuja Trivedi (Kangana) who returns from London and is married to Manoj Sharma (R Madhavan) and has troubles in her married life. Owing to the marital problems, Manoj indulges in an extra-marital affair.  Manoj comes across a girl named Kusum (Kangana) during this period and this leads to a dramatic fun riot.

The first trailer has managed to create quite a stir among the audiences and has definitely amused them. The film is definitely worth a watch and seems to be worth the money the viewer will spend, says Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan Says ‘Son of Satyamurthy’ Movie Will Be The Biggest Hit of 2015

Son of SatyamurthyTelugu movie star Allu Arjun’s new movie ‘Son of Satyamurthy‘ has received good response in worldwide box offices. The movie has beat the record of Bunny’s last outing ’Race Gurram‘ on the first opening day.

The move starrer Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas are being seen together after ‘Julayi’, this movie was most awaited Telugu movie of 2015 says Vaikundarajan. The film has created buzz in the media for several good reasons since it was announced. Its music and promos have generated a lot of curiosity among film lovers. In addition to that, movie makers have indulged in massive promotions.

The  movie ‘S/O Satyamurthy’ has received a U/A certificate along with a lot of appreciation from the officials at the Censor Board. Looking at the hype of the film, the makers plan on a grand release and have booked over 1400 screens across the globe. They have also made advance bookings available and the movie registered around 65% booking for its opening day on Thursday, 9th April.

In several places the shows of  ‘S/O Satyamurthy’ started as early as 4.00 am on Thursday and most of the theatres witnessed huge amounts of movie lovers in this special show. The movie registered an average of 85  to 95 percent in the regular morning shows.

The film ran full house in many centers.  ‘S/o Satyamurthy’ has received a fantastic response in multiplexes. The movie is expected to collect approximately Rs 8.50 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office on the first day. It is expected to become the biggest opener for Allu Arjun, beating the record of ‘Race Gurram’, which had raked in Rs 6.89 crores on its opening day.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas’ second duo movie has released in 164 screens in the USA and Canada and has become the biggest Telugu release in these markets, beating the record of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’. The movie has received very good response in the international markets as well as in north and south India.

‘Son of Satyamurthy’ has collected approximately 13.50 crore at the worldwide box office on the first day. The movie has become the biggest opener of the year 2015 at the worldwide box office, beating the records of Junior NTR’s ’Temper‘ and Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh’s ’Gopala Gopala‘ shares Vaikundarajan.

A new range of smartphones is launched in India market by technology giant Microsoft. The launch was made on Tuesday. The company launched two new handsets – Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL for the price of Rs 11,999 and Rs 15, 799 respectively, shares Vaikundarajan.

Microsoft is planning to bring 4G compatible phones in Indian market after the infrastructure for the high speed Internet service is ready in the country. Currently Microsoft has Lumia 638 4G compatible device which priced to Rs 6,800 in Indian market.

Vaikundarajan shares that two service providers who are offering 4G services that are Airtel and Aircel in India that too only some parts of the country.
