This week saw the release of Bollywood thriller film – Jazbaa. The film marks the return of celebrated actress Aishwarya Rai after 5 years. Her last release was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta of Kante fame, the film also stars Irfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Jackie Shroff. Since its release, the trailer has generated a lot of buzz around the town. When asked about her comeback, Aishwarya Rai quoted, “I never went away.” shares Vaikundarajan.
The trailer begins with Rai introducing herself as the lawyer Anuradha Verma. What follows is a series of chase sequence between the actress and a masked villain. The dialogues in the trailer, mostly delivered by Irfan Khan, have been noteworthy.
Vaikundarajan is very impressed by the sneak preview into Aishwarya Rai’s performance. “She is certainly one of the best talents in the nation,” he says. The choice of star casts is commendable and Sanjay Gupta deserves all credits on picking the best of the lot.
The movie is set for a release on 8th October. Vaikundarajan believes Jazbaa will be a power packed, edge-of-the-seat thriller. He sends his best wishes to the star cast and hopes this will turn out to be the movie of the year.
