Vaikundarajan Welcomes Kamal Haasan To Twitter

Twitter has been around for a long time now. Most celebrities have their official accounts to connect and engage with their fans. Kamal Haasan is the new addition to the microblogging site. “His addition has created a wave on Twitter and his fans are ecstatic to have a one-on-one with him,” says Vaikundarajan.

It could not have been a better day for Kamal Haasan as he made his presence official on Republic Day in a grand fashion by posting a rendition of the National Anthem. “India’s freedom struggle remains unique even today. Respecting it is d only way to keep it & set new world standard,” he tweeted.

“His handle @iKamalHaasan has already been verified by Twitter and garnered over 8000 followers within an hour,” informs Vaikundarajan.

The four-time national award winning actor was also given a shoutout by his actor-daughter Shruti Hasan welcoming him to the platform.

Kamal Haasan will be next seen in Vishwaroopam 2, a sequel to the blockbuster Vishwaroopam that was released in 2013. “Haasan’s presence on Twitter is a long term treat to his fans. We can expect early updates of his films,” says Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan On Kamal Haasan-Shruti Haasan Starrer

Real life father-daughter duo, Kamal Haasan and Shruti Haasan, will take their relationship to the big screen in an upcoming untitled Tamil project. “This will be the first time the duo will be seen on the same screen. It should be a treat for the audience,” says Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan Reviews Bijoy Nambiar’s Wazir

Directed by Bijoy Nambiar, Wazir is the first Bollywood release of 2016. “The movie has been written by seasoned scriptwriter Vidhu Vinod Chopra. With a star cast of Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akthar, the movie has been long awaited,” says Vaikundarajan.

The movie will be released on 8th January and the film trailers have been promising so far. Most certainly, movie goers will be lining up the ticket counter this weekend.

“Farhan and Amitabh form a great onscreen pair and deliver a powerful performance,” adds Vaikundarajan. 2015 for Bollywood has been a year of romantic comedies. It has been a long time since the viewers have been treated to a suspense drama. With Wazir, the suspense drama drought seems to be finally over.  About the movie, Vaikundarajan says that it provides an edge of the seat thriller that has been missing from theatres for some time.

Apart from the two leads, Aditi Rao Haidari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham also feature in the movie. The dialogues are well written and add to the flavour of the movie.

The songs have not done well, save for a couple of romantic songs. However, the movie’s thrill makes up for the rest. Vaikundarajan believes the movie will do well and might as well be a contender for awards.
