This launch comes under a sub-brand iBall CompBook starting at INR 9999. “The company aims at bridging the gap between the consumer needs and the devices available in the market,” says Vaikundarajan.

iBall will be working in association with Microsoft with an aim to drive the digital revolution in India and bring world class products and offerings. Vaikundarajan Reviews The Cheapest Smartphone In India

docoss x 1-vaikundarajanFreedom 251 was slowly fading away from our memories. However, a new player in the market has refreshed our memories by launching their own range of smartphones at just Rs. 888. “Jaipur-based company called Docoss has quietly entered the market with the cheapest possible smartphone in India,” informs Vaikundarajan.

Phoneradar, a tech-blogging network, revealed that the company had recently setup a website and was taking pre-orders for the smartphone. The website promises to deliver the device by May 2 with cash on delivery.

Analysing the website, Vaikundarajan noted, “The website looks dull with little information available on the company. The company requires users to book the phone via an SMS. Surprisingly, there is no photograph of the phone on the website.”

The company promises interesting features for a low price. The phone has a 4-inch screen and runs on 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor. It has 1GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage with expandable option of up to 32 GB. The phone runs on Android Kitkat. The rear camera comes with 2MP while the front camera is VGA.

“For the price of Rs. 888 and these features, the phone most certainly sounds like a good deal. Whether this is a real deal or just another scam remains to be seen,” concludes Vaikundarajan.

Amazon To Sell Motorola Moto G and Moto G Turbo, Informs Vaikundarajan

motorola-moto-g-turbo-vaikundarajanSince its launch in 2014, Moto G Series smartphones have been sold exclusively on Flipkart. However, Motorola made an announcement through Twitter that the smartphones will be available on Amazon India as well.

“This comes as good news for users as Amazon has always provided a better deal compared to Flipkart,” says Vaikundarajan. Moreover, tie-up with other e-commerce website brings in an opportunity to reach a wider consumer base. As an experiment to the new marketing strategy, Motorola offered its Moto E on Amazon India, Snapdeal and Airtel outlets.

The sales had been phenomenal and led to the company’s decision to partner with other e-commerce brands, informs Vaikundarajan. Now that Moto G series is available on Amazon India, users can expect Moto X Play and Moto X Style to follow the suit.

Speaking on its features, Vaikundarajan notes that Moto G Turbo is an advanced version of Moto G 3rd edition. Some differences to be noted are that the former has 64-bit class Snapdragon 615 series Octa-core as compared to 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor in the latter.

Other specifications are more or less the same. Both phones are equipped with 2GB RAM, 13 MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, 2470 mAh battery and IP67 water-and-dust proof certification.
